New residents are welcomed with a basket containing valuable information about our community, including a community guide and a jar of honey from The Escondido Creek Conservancy (TECC).

We also encourage all residents to attend community meetings to meet neighbors, learn about important community issues, and become involved in the community. Meetings are held regularly at the Elfin Forest Fire House, located at 20223 Elfin Forest Road. Please watch for community e-alerts and messages from your block captain for meeting dates and updates.

Ways to Get Involved

Elfin Forest has always been strengthened by neighbors who volunteer their time, share their talents, and participate in community activities. There are many ways to help preserve the rural character and close-knit spirit of our valley.

Join a Town Council Committee.
Committees provide opportunities to contribute your ideas, skills, and time to issues that matter to the community.

Consider running for election to the Town Council Board.
Each February, the community's voting residents elect new Directors to the Board. These nine volunteers dedicate significant time and effort to helping maintain and enhance our vibrant valley and unique community. If you are interested in running for election, please notify a current Board member by December so your name can be considered for inclusion on the election slate.

Help with community clean-ups.
Volunteer efforts help keep our roadsides, trails, and shared spaces beautiful and welcoming.

Pitch in at community events.
Many of Elfin Forest's traditions and celebrations rely on neighbors working together.

Help maintain the Fire Wise Garden.
The Fire Wise Garden next to the Fire Station is maintained entirely by volunteers and requires periodic care. If you have gardening experience and would like to help, please contact us at efhgtc@gmail.com.
