52nd Annual 4th of July Parade and Picnic

Where: Elfin Forest Road and Fire Station #6

It takes a village or in this case a forest to host this event. Please consider volunteering.

Saturday, June 27th: SET UP

  • 9:00am - 12:00pm: Please volunteer to help set up tables, games and beer garden. Beer will be provided to those who volunteer!


Sunday, June 28th: PARADE AND PICNIC

  • 9:00am - 12:00pm: Picnic set up (volunteers, please show up before road closes).

  • 12:00pm - 2:00pm: Elfin Forest Road closed for parade.

  • 12:00pm - 12:30pm: Parade floats, horses and walkers begin lining up at Sage Hill vault and across the street. Parade watchers stake out choice viewing / cheering spots along parade route.

  • 12:45pm: PARADE STARTS

  • 1:00pm - 3:00pm: Picnic, live music, games and silent auction at the firehouse.

  • 3:00pm: Breakdown. Volunteers needed.

    The event includes:

  • Citizen of the Year: Debbie O’Neill!

  • Parade with animals and tractors, motorcycles, golf carts, our local firetruck and more. We close down Elfin Forest Road.

  • Great food provided by Mexico City Cuisine.

  • Kona Ice Truck.

  • Silent Auction - In-Person ONLY.

  • Live band courtesy of SM Familia.

  • Beer garden courtesy of The Lost Abbey, our ongoing beer sponsor and plenty of non-alcoholic drinks.

  • Kids carnival style games and prizes.

  • Cakewalk.

  • Pie Eating Contest.

  • Firefighter games.

  • Egg toss.

  • Horseshoes and/or Cornhole.

  • Spending time with your community? Priceless!
