The Escondido and Rancho Santa Fe school districts are looking for school sites and considering our area. It’s important for us to be prepared when public agencies and developers bring forth their plans. We’ve already taken the first steps for shaping new residential development. We’ve produced and recorded with the County our community standards detailing our vision for the growth of rural homes, roads, and trails. Now’s the time to add a school policy to our standards to clearly indicate the kind of school that would enhance, rather than threaten, our rural lifestyle. Please join our school policy committee to discuss what features you think are important to preserve in our schools and in our community while both continue to grow.

Many thanks to Bill Osborn for his research which is presented below.
